What I can’t figure out is, why doesn’t everyone want to be a midwife?

Connie and Kathi were so wonderful to work with. After having two hospital births, I knew I wanted to have a home birth for my third. I loved the personalized care and how they really took the time at each appointment to talk about how I was feeling. Being able to text or call with any questions I had was so wonderful and they answered right away.
My labor/delivery was so quick, my husband delivered our baby girl with Connie on the phone talking him through it all and keeping us calm, as she was on her way. She arrived shortly after and was so full of joy seeing a happy, healthy baby! Having a home birth was an incredible experience, I wish I would have done it with the first two! I highly recommend Dance of Life Midwifery!

I thoroughly enjoyed having the dance of life team assisting us with the birth of our first baby.  Connie was great with keeping me calm and fed, and Kathi helped me with different positions to speed things up when I wasn’t progressing.  The laboring tub was like a drug, I felt so comfortable birthing our baby at home.

While I was pregnant with my first child Connie was my midwife. She was there with me every step of the way. With every question I had and challenge I faced she was a phone call away. During my exams Connie was great at explaining what was going on with my body. She made me feel at ease when I was worried and shared in my excitement. Leading up to the birth of my daughter she gave me tools to prepare my body. She gave me the reassurance and confidence I needed going into labour. She was always the calming factor in my journey. From conception to my daughter’s first breath Connie was by my side and it made my pregnancy the most memorable time of my life.

Connie was such a breath of fresh air throughout both my pregnancies. Her calming nature really helped with my first pregnancy when we had some troubles. She would listen, help me understand and offer a quick word of advice. Connie had given me a few letters to have for when I went into labor as she was not able to be there physically. Those letters helped me for multiple stages in my labor and early motherhood. She offered support when I was struggling with breastfeeding. She offered comfort in the many questions I had throughout both pregnancies. Her guidance and knowledge was such a grace for an overwhelmed mom expecting a second child. I may not have anymore children to be able to use her services but I never would doubt to recommend her to anyone.
