Owner/Lead Midwife I am a Licensed Midwife (LM) and Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) in Northern Michigan. I was born and raised in Canada and moved to Michigan in 2016 to pursue midwifery. In 2018 I became a midwife. I became licensed in Michigan in 2020 and in 2022 I took over Dance of Life Midwifery. I attended the MEAC accredited school Birthwise Midwifery School and was directly trained under previous owner Kathi Mulder, as well as a few other Northern Michigan Midwives. I was drawn to pregnancy and birth from a young age and knew that this was the path I should take. After careful consideration I found myself in Maine starting the process of becoming a Midwife. Then I made my way to Michigan where I found home. Home in midwifery and home in my heart. In my free time my husband, Rob and I love to wander the woods and tend to our flock of chickens and large yard. GCBC is located on three acres of property in Grand Bassin, Haiti. It operates with an all-volunteer board. When you donate to GCBC, your money is going directly to Haitian women, babies, and families in need.
